2 Quick Class Projects for Primary Students in December

Today we are featuring 2 quick and easy December class projects for primary students from Mr. Parkinson, a Primary Teacher at Trafford Borough Council. Mr. Parkinson is the author of  Mr. P’s ICT Blog, a great resource for educators that is filled with creative ideas to raise standards across the curriculum using technology.

Christmas Around the World

Mr. P’s year 3 class used a variety of apps to tell the story of Christmas Around the World. The recorded children’s voices add tremendous emotional value to the body of work, but the option to create computer-generated videos provides students with a choice and alternate way to communicate a message. This is a brilliant use of app-smashing to leverage the power of available tools.

Create An Interactive Advent Calendar

Mr. P. combined the power of ThingLink with Pic Collage  to create advent calendars on iPads with primary students. Learn more about creating class advent calendars on Mr. P’s ICT Blog
