The ThingLink Teacher Challenge is going strong at the end of June. If you haven’t joined us yet, this would be a great time to get started! We’ve launched 3 activities to date. Participants will find they can complete all three of them in about 2-4 hours, depending on your experience level, and the depth of the activity you design. Here is a summary of resources to help everyone stay on track during this self-paced PD opportunity in June and July.
A Slideshow of Task Cards
Each of the activities for the Teacher Challenge has a unique page and lesson. To help participants quickly create the activities, we have used ThingLink to create interactive Task Cards with step-by-step directions. Each activity has been added to a ThingLink Channel, or slideshow. Scroll through the channel to access directions for each challenge and learn to put these resources to use. To learn more about ways to use our Channels, and to get all resources for this PD, visit ThingLink Teacher Challenge Central.
We’re curating collections of mmersive stories submitted and displaying them on a new page just for curated collections.
Anyone can use the free ThingLink mobile app to put yourself on the Participant Map
As each educator joins the Teacher Challenge, our participant map gets more interesting. We hope you enjoy this collection of visual data!
This activity starts with a 360 image from our library to uncover a story you would like to tell. Use a planning document to efficiently map your story and create a ThingLink for viewing in a VR headset.
We will build on your immersive storytelling experience and help you create a tour to travel to more than one location.
